My mission is to empower women to love and nourish themselves inside and out!

Hi, I’m Priscilla Soligo and I’m the co- founder of THRIVE. I’m also a clinical nutritionist, personal trainer, qualified chef and proud mum of two. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Southern Queensland & Post Graduate in the Science of Human Nutrition from Deakin University in Melbourne and personal training certification from the Australian Institute of Fitness in Perth. My mission in life is to empower women to love and nourish themselves from the inside out!

My approach to wellness and nutrition is rooted in science, but started in the kitchen! As a trained chef, I have always been passionate about real whole foods with plenty of plants!. My food career took me around the globe, holding workshops and events, instructing at international plant-based culinary academies and appearing on TV shows like Hong Kong’s TVB Dolce Vita. I also co-founded a raw vegan chocolate brand with my sister, Raiz The Bar Chocolate Makers, which saw us win the Natural Organic Products Asia (NOPA) award in 2016 for the most outstanding product.

Despite working in the wellness world for nearly a decade, I couldn’t figure out why I would get sick every few months and couldn’t seem to lose my pooch (my tummy, not the cute puppy kind!) I struggled with exercise consistency and was a serial fitness binger, giving it my all for about a week, then nothing for months. Throw in some health issues, including a serious ankle injury and severe dyskaryosis (CIN 3) in my cervix, plus an inability to shift my baby weight after having kids and it’s safe to say I was ready to make some big changes.

While I was grateful to be blessed with two beautiful, healthy adorable children and loved my body for what it had overcome, I wanted to know what it felt like to be the healthiest version of myself. So, at the end of 2016, I began researching cutting-edge science and experimented on myself to discover what did and didn’t work for me. I looked and felt the best I ever had. I decided to go back to university and study my post graduate masters degree in Human Nutrition, which delves into our biology and biochemistry. Researching, reading and being in PubMed comparing clinical trials, I wanted to distill this valuable information to help as many women as possible.

The result was my THRIVE approach — a science-backed formula for balancing blood sugar, increasing insulin sensitivity, hunger hormone happiness and creating healthy gut microbiota in order to achieve long-lasting sustainable health. Since creating the THRIVE approach, I have received inspiring feedback from women all over the world who have ditched the diets and feel like they finally have food freedom and love the body they’re in.
